Infrared (PIR) Motion Sensor
Your wireless motion sensor detects infrared energy given off by persons
in a secured area. A home alarm is signaled only when the sensor is
armed and the viewed energy has the correct temperature, motion, and
timing associated with an intruder, thus safeguarding against false
alarms. The sensor uses fresnel lenses to provide a choice of seven
different coverage patterns, including a pattern to protect against
activation by pets.

Protect
More of your Home
For
interior protection, motion sensors provide a strong second line of defense.
Your
motion sensor will be placed in a central room or passage in your home to
cover the largest area possible. Mounted in a critical part of the home
where any burglar will have to pass, this part of your home security
system protects all those windows and entries that might otherwise go
unguarded. Covering a 25'x25' area, no burglar is safe from its watchful
eye.

Reliability
Special
motion sensors allow family pets to roam free without triggering an unwanted
security alarm. In
addition to the many measures ensuring your home motion sensor detects
only actual intruders, a wall tamper causes an alarm if the sensor is
removed. Also, this wireless unit is an autonomous self-monitoring unit,
assuring your family of 24-hour-a-day protection and prompt notification
of everything from tampering to low-batteries. |
